Adaptation from International law for Religious Freedom for Children:

All parties seem to agree that parents have the right to control the religious upbringing of the child, yet also think it is important to determine if the children find the readers offensive. However, if parents have the right to control their children's religious beliefs, as the parents aver, then the children cannot have any rights in this matter which need to be or could be protected. The fact that children agree with their parents--if they indeed do--is legally irrelevant; even mentioning the children's agreement is a diversion from the presumed fundamental legal issue.

On the other hand, if children have rights which merit mention in these legal proceedings, then the parents cannot have a right to control the children's religious upbringing. If the children have rights, these may need protecting not only from state intrusion, but, at least in some instances, from parental indoctrination. The parents cannot consistently argue for both rights; nor can the judge consistently recognize both. Yet that is exactly what the district judge did. Setting this inconsistency aside; what exactly is wrong with the parent's position? It is undeniable that it has some legal merit. Nonetheless, I think their claim is seriously misguided though the only way to demonstrate that has consequences which many will find objectionable

10 Misconceptions of Christianity

1 - Once you become a Christian, God will solve all of your problems.
Many new Christians are shocked when the first trial or serious crisis hits. Here's a reality check -- get prepared -- the Christian life is not always easy! You will still face ups and downs, challenges and joys. You will have problems and troubles to overcome. This verse offers encouragement for Christians facing difficult situations:

1 Peter 4:12-13 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. (NIV)

2 - Becoming a Christian means giving up all fun and following a life of rules.
A joyless existence of mere rule-following is not true Christianity and the abundant life God intends for you. Rather, this describes a man-made experience of legalism. God has amazing adventures planned for you. These verses give a description of what it means to experience God's life:

Romans 14:16-18 Then you will not be condemned for doing something you know is all right. For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. If you serve Christ with this attitude, you will please God. And other people will approve of you, too. (NLT)

1 Corinthians 2:9 However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" — (NIV)

3 - All Christians are loving, perfect people.
Well, it doesn't take very long to discover that this is not true. But being prepared to meet the imperfections and failures of your new family in Christ can spare you future pain and disillusionment. Although Christians strive to be like Christ, we will never obtain complete sanctification until we stand before the Lord. In fact, God uses our imperfections to "grow us" in the faith. If not, there would be no need to forgive one another.
As we learn to live in harmony with our new family, we rub each other like sandpaper. It's painful at times, but the result brings about a smoothing and softening to our rough edges.
Colossians 3:13 Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. (NIV)
Philippians 3:12-13 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead ... (NIV)

4 - Bad things don't happen to truly godly Christians.
This point goes along with point number one, however, the focus is slightly different. Often Christians begin to wrongly believe that if they live a godly Christian life, God will protect them from pain and suffering. Paul, a hero of the faith, suffered much:

2 Corinthians 11:24-26 Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea, I have been constantly on the move. I have been in danger from rivers, in danger from bandits, in danger from my own countrymen, in danger from Gentiles; in danger in the city, in danger in the country, in danger at sea; and in danger from false brothers. (NIV)
Some faith groups believe the Bible promises health, wealth and prosperity for all who live a godly life. But this teaching is false. Jesus never taught this to his followers. You may experience these blessings in your life, but they are not a reward for godly living. At times we experience tragedy, pain and loss in life. This is not always a result of sin, as some would claim, but rather, for a greater purpose that we may not understand immediately. We may never understand, but we can trust God in these difficult times, and know he has a purpose.

Rick Warren says in his popular book, The Purpose Driven Life - "Jesus did not die on the cross just so we could live comfortable, well-adjusted lives. His purpose is far deeper: He wants to make us like himself before he takes us to heaven."

1 Peter 1:6-7 So be truly glad! There is wonderful joy ahead, even though it is necessary for you to endure many trials for a while. These trials are only to test your faith, to show that it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold--and your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold. So if your faith remains strong after being tried by fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. (NLT)

5 - Christian ministers and missionaries are more spiritual than other believers.
This is a subtle but persistent misconception that we carry in our minds as believers. Because of this false notion, we end up putting ministers and missionaries on "spiritual pedestals" accompanied by unrealistic expectations. When one of these heroes falls from our self-constructed perch, it tends to make us fall too -- away from God. Don't let this happen in your life. You may have to continually guard yourself against this subtle deception.
Paul, Timothy's spiritual father, taught him this truth - we are all sinners on an equal playing field with God and each other:

1 Timothy 1:15-16 This is a true saying, and everyone should believe it: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners--and I was the worst of them all. But that is why God had mercy on me, so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in him and receive eternal life. (NLT)

6 - Christian churches are always safe places, where you can trust everyone.
Although this should be true, it is not. Unfortunately we live in a fallen world where evil resides. Not everyone who enters the church has honorable intentions, and even some who do come with good intentions can fall back into old patterns of sin. One of the most dangerous places in Christian churches, if not properly guarded, is the children's ministry. Churches that don't implement background checks, team led classrooms, and other security measures, leave themselves open to many dangerous threats.

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (NKJV)

Matthew 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. (KJV)

7 - Christians should never say anything that might offend someone or hurt someone else's feelings.
Many new believers have a wrong understanding of meekness and humility. The idea of godly meekness involves having strength and courage, but the kind of strength that is submitted to God's control. True humility recognizes complete dependence upon God and knows we have no goodness except that which is found in Christ. Sometimes our love for God and our fellow Christians, and obedience to God's Word compels us to speak words that may hurt someone's feelings or offend them. Some people call this "tough love."

Ephesians 4:14-15 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. (NIV)

Proverbs 27:6 Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses. (NIV)
8 - As a Christian you should not associate with unbelievers.

I am always saddened when I hear so called "seasoned" believers teaching this false notion to new Christians. Yes, it is true that you may have to break off some of the unhealthy relationships you have had with people from your past life of sin. At least for awhile you may need to do this until you are strong enough to resist the temptations of your old lifestyle. However, Jesus, our example, made it his mission (and ours) to associate with sinners. How will we attract those who need a Savior, if we don't build relationships with them?

1 Corinthians 9:22-23 When I am with those who are oppressed, I share their oppression so that I might bring them to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone so that I might bring them to Christ. I do all this to spread the Good News, and in doing so I enjoy its blessings. (NLT)

9 - Christians should not enjoy any earthly pleasures.I believe God created all of the good, wholesome, enjoyable, and fun things we have on this earth as a blessing for us to enjoy. The key is not holding on to these earthly things too tightly. We should grasp and enjoy our blessings with our palms held open and tilted up.

Job 1:21 And (Job) said: "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised." (NIV)

10 - Christians always feel close to God.As a new Christian you may feel very close to God. Your eyes have just been opened to a brand new, exciting life with God. However, you should be prepared for dry seasons in your walk with God. They are bound to come. A life-long walk of faith requires trust and commitment even when you don't feel close to God. In these verses, David expresses sacrifices of praise to God in the midst of spiritual times of drought:

Psalm 63:1 [A psalm of David. When he was in the Desert of Judah.] O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. (NIV)

Psalm 42:1-3 As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? My tears have been my food day and night, while men say to me all day long, "Where is your God?" (NIV)

Quick Feet, Mine Or His?

Running is a fun sport. It is good exercise and helps me stay in shape. There are some important things to know if you are going to run a marathon. A marathon is a very long race of 42.2 kilometers [26.2 miles]. You have to pace yourself. You just can't run at full speed or you will give out before you can finish the race. Another thing is that you can't take along much or it will slow you down.

The Bible speaks of running a race in the Book of Hebrews.

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of God. - Hebrews 12:1,2

That is what it means to run God's race. We have to look to the example our Lord Jesus gave us. We can't just do it on our own. If we hold on to our old ways and habits of being a bad person (sin), then we will not be able to finish the race. It will slow us down. If we rely on the Lord Jesus, he will forgive us and we can put aside our sin. Then we can run at a steady pace, living a godly life. Just as a runner keeps his mind on the finish line, we can keep our eyes on Jesus as we go through our life here on earth.

Next time you put on a pair of running shoes, stop and ask yourself: Am I running my own race, or am I running God's race?

Escapism

Escapism robs us of psychological maturity and much wisdom. It is only in dealing with reality that one develops the "Wisdom" that begets "Understanding," and it is "Understanding" that truly makes us mature enough to deal on a long term basis with "Reality."

Not just easier for a little while, as with an escape, but for a lifetime. Escapism isn't a cure for our stress or our fears, but is a crutch! Escapism doesn't build good character or quality self-confidence, but facing reality does. Additionally, escapism has a very serious "Side Effect," and that is, like all crutches, it is addictive.

And at this point I am only talking about psychological addiction. Most people can easily see the dangers of drug and alcohol induced "Escapism," but few can see the danger in what appears to be harmless little "Self-indulgences." However, the dangers of escapism are a reality. Can you think of an example where psychological "Escapism" has destroyed lives and relationships? What about broken marriages and family relationships? Once a person has developed a psychological dependency on "Escapism," can alcohol and drug induced "Escapism" be that far behind?

What's In A Name? "Allah"

Article Title: What's in a name? ( Refer to The Sunday Times, Think Pg 31)

Summary:
In lieu of the recent ruckus over the "blatant" use of the word "Allah by a Roman Catholic Church In Malaysia, the writer discusses with us the background over the term "Allah" and its rightful owner or owners.

A Little Background & My Thoughts:
Disparity among religion, in general, is rather a very sensitive and deep rooted subject which is often tagged with severe ramifications if the approach taken to solve such disparity is not critically examined. Such a vivid example where disparity between religions has gone wrong, in general, would be Malaysia.
Malaysia records a history filled with either outward or discreet racial and religious tensions among her supposed secular society. Being a predominantly Muslim society, scores of tensions in the past, initially over religious issues with the Hindus, makes it no surprise that the controversial use of the word "Allah" would raise no opposition as a religious attack on Islam as a whole.

Author does an excellent job in pointing out the origins of the word "Allah".
“To begin with most of those who insist Allah is uniquely Muslim or Arabic seem unaware that the words for God in arabic, hebrew and Aramaic are so closely related as to be virtually indistinguishable". Undeniably, the abrahmic faiths- Judaism, Christianity and Islam have different conceptions of God, but etymologically speaking, the Arabic "Allah" shares the same rot as the Hebrew "Elohim" and Aramaic "Alaha".

So are the Christians wrong in using "Allah"? The author describes-"It is difficult to say Christians cannot say "Allah" when Arab Christians have been doing so for thousands of years and when Christ, who spoke Aramaic, would have said Alah.Both Matthew 27:46 and Mark 15:34 tells us that at the ninth hour on the cross, Christ cried out"My God, My God,why hast thou forsaken me?"- Eloi being the personal possesive of ellah, which should have been spelt Elah-i or Alah-i". Nevertheless, it would be meaningless to say Christians have a better claim on the distant common root of Elohim, Elah or Allah, because Christ came before the prophet, as it would be to say Jew or Muslims do.

Keeping that in mind, its no longer an issue about who owns the term " Allah" ,neither does the issue take a twist as what the media quotes as an "evangelical onslaught" by the Roman Catholics. Instead, it points out the religious intolerance Malaysian society has developed or rather overlooked. For decades, communal policies have been in aid for the Malay community. Though governed via secular means, Malays in Malaysia have seen their racial dominance as religious dominance- clearly two distinctly different issues. As such in my point of view, the uproar over the usage of the word “Allah" is not really about who has the right to use it, rather its more about the stakes of Muslim prestige in Malaysia and its overlooked history of scores of religious tensions.

The Quest of Identity

But such are void for lack of a subject matter: the notion of absolute identity they presuppose has no application; there is only relative identity.

An expectation

so the question lies whether can people deliver expectations?

you see, we humans are so accustomed to visually impress
that our heart and emotions become the canopy of our blanketed exterior
in other words is our heartbeat really for what we mean?

well, i wont say human arent credible sources
but its true to say that they ,more often than not, hold the bulk of disappointment
expectation isnt a worry
the worry comes, when the attempt to meet that expectations is faltered by your past or hidden character
now i aint sure, is it me or the rest?

for it was out of the concern i did those
but, i guess being overprotective does have its complications
complacency and faith arent good friends
but you have shown that words from the mouth only hold poison

Footprints

One night I dreamed a dream.
I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one belonging to me and one to my Lord.

When the last scene of my life shot before me I looked back at the footprints in the sand. There was only one set of footprints. I realized that this was at the lowest and saddest times of my life. This always bothered me and I questioned the Lord about my dilemma.

"Lord, You told me when I decided to follow You, You would walk and talk with me all the way. But I'm aware that during the most troublesome times of my life there is only one set of footprints. I just don't understand why, when I need You most, You leave me."

He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you, never, ever, during your trials and testings. When you saw only one set of footprints, It was then that I carried you."

Exponentiality

The Unspoken power of Foregiveness

You know, today was an awesome day as it was filled with simply awesome testimonies and of course miracles. But i got a glimpse of forgiveness, just as i was interceding in covariance. The fact is, the power of forgiveness sees no formidable threat or opponents!

Its amazing the amount of love and concern forgiveness summons, but the summoner needs to have LOADS of concern for that particular person. I guess, i feel more than usual for people now, even more so for strangers! freaky some might say, but skans rock heart has officially metamorphosed into a soft one with sensitivity and love.

I love it and he doesn't see them as burdens. The smiles of others is food of joy to him :D

Is something really amiss?

so fare the hardest challenge for me in others is to deliver the strongest form of conviction amongst others. there are quite a few ways to establish that conviction-

1. to imprint my visualization so vividly into another, which means an active replace of ideals (Meta-idealism)

2. A long process of much urging and explanation, in view to gain understanding of partner by promoting unit-secularity amongst people amongst conversation (commonly known as convincing people, without interfering with their thoughts)

3. The promotion of unilateral/desired thoughts through fact linearities coherent to nature of ideal shift

Having analyzed these three factors aint the main struggle, but the application is where the glitches reveal like sparkling diamond. The application takes a gruesome detour when each medication surfaces its own laxative, allergenic and withdrawal effect- of course all in the name of emotions and thoughts.

So how and when you judge? Honestly,I don't know and thats what i still struggle with till this day. But one thing is for sure, with faith it will be revealed to you for which is the desired solution with the best overall status : "All is Green"

You know, analogies can be great. But the concept of analogy illustrates how afraid we people are of being binded by the truth. Human complacency and desires, gratifies a whole new dimension of accelerated predicaments.

But these very same predicaments have a flashing EXIT sign. The option lies within the grasp of our sweaty palms filled with adversity and perplexity.

And admist all this, the choice i took was a logically futile, but as long as i know that you are the cleanser and majesty, what are all these perplexity?Forgive me, for my disbelief and sinfulness. It is when an individual does not achieve a certain result and drops out right in their face. Quite straightforward isn’t it?

But some people just see failure as something that their journey for that particular area has ended and then quits right away.Little do they know that its actually the best time to pick themselves up and learn from where they are.

So lets get started with picking yourself up from failure.

Action

You must first have a goal in mind before you do anything and then proceed with a strategy and then apply…It's all too stereotype.For example, a student wants to do well in his or her studies.

Setting the kind of grade he wants to the point that he knows what marks he wants to get.Be very specific about that so that you know clearly what is it that you want to achieve.Setting goals is useless if you don’t work on it.

Next, improvise a strategy that will help you achieve that goal of yours. Plan out that strategy just like when you’re entering war in the battlefield. Follow according to your plan

Now who said that all plans work, not all do. Some are bad plans and need to be changed.

Hence, with the wrong strategy you’ll get wrong results and might even cause you to be discouraged drastically or at least to a certain extent.

All you need to do is change your strategy constantly and by doing so, you will get different results accordingly by taking action.

Sift out the right one and you’ll stick to it because it works so well and achieve the results you want with that new and great strategy.

More importantly, we should view undesired and negative results as feedback and not failure.It should be like a report that tells us that we should change certain areas and continue to persevere.

It is due to the lack of determination that caused so many people to really fail because they just can’t accept that one-time feedback.

Thomas Edison failed so many times.. its thousands of times of trying new strategies before he created the light bulb and there we are with that filament here and there around the world.

What if he decided to give up at his first try or half way.

Dark.

So if you think giving up is the way to go, please drown yourself. See if you give up at that time.

Reconsider what you’re doing and make the best of anything that you are challenged.

Recognizing Depression

Depression can easily get in the way of an individual's daily activities and his or her's normal functions, one's zest for life can quickly and easily dissipate due to depression. So in place of an individual's sunny disposition is more or less a person who hates his or herself, having no self-confidence, trying to isolate one's self from the world and basically just not caring about living any more. More so, a person suffering from depression isn't the only one who's going to suffer from this destructive illness, his or her loved ones are sure to follow suit.

Still, people tend to not recognize depression. Being honest with one's self is key to being able to cure such an illness. Never overlook the various symptoms, depressed individuals often exhibit uncharacteristic behaviors such as suddenly lacking interest in one's hobbies or other stuff that he or she usually enjoys. Cognitive behavioral talk or interpersonal talk are just some of the available psychosocial treatments that cognitive behavior therapists can offer to their patients. Both actually prove to be able to produce fruitful and positive results.

Depression shouldn't be something that people fear. Instead, people should just start taking charge of their lives and actually face this illness and fight it. Life is too beautiful a gift to waste and if one spends the majority of his or her life just moping around then what kind of life would that be? Depression may not kill one's body but it can certainly kill one's spirit if you let it. Don't be a victim.

Today's post gonna be about Mood Swings (apparently because i saw a couple quarreling on my way back):) TEHHEEEEE:)

What motivates people to make a significant change in their lives?
Is it a vision of the possible, a goal they set, or the encouragement of others? It can be any of these factors, but often the prime motivator is a negative emotional state.

People don't like how they're feeling. They may be too sad, too angry, or too anxious.

At these times, there is a desire to have the unpleasant emotional state go away... and usually... to go away fast.

The problem, however, is this. How do you change an emotion?

Emotions are nebulous and hard to grasp.

You can't force them to be this way or that way, and if you focus too much on them, they usually only intensify. I t "is" hard to control an emotion.

Fortunately, our emotions, thoughts, and behaviors are all connected, so that a change in one can affect the others.

Thoughts and behaviors are more easily influenced than emotions. If we change our thinking or our behavior, our emotions will follow suit.

If you don't like how you're feeling, checkout how what you're thinking or doing is related to your emotion.

If you are too sad, what are you thinking? Often you will find exaggerated thoughts about how "one" negative event has ruined "everything" and how "nothing" can ever change it.

Assess your behavior, and you may find that you have taken to lying in bed from noon to night.

No wonder you're so sad.Do this yo! Get out of bed; find a more realistic point of view, and your sadness may disappear.

If you're too angry, perhaps you are busy thinking about how unfair someone's comment was, and how you don't deserve such treatment?(P.S:Thinking of anyone wouldn't' help. I tried it) You may also be complaining about it to everyone?

Stop your fussing and just accept that unfair things happen. Trust me and Let it go, and SURELY your emotional state will improve.

Remember, if you don't like how you're feeling, don't focus just on changing the emotion.

Try changing your thinking and your behavior and see if your mood changes as well-that's as much i could help you.

Its awkward how fast life changes-

something we call the metamorphosis of life

One of the big debates out there right now is how the children of the world should be taught how we got here. There are two camps -- intelligent design, a modernist-PC term for Creationism, and then there is Darwin's theory of evolution and natural selection. These two campus usually fall along political lines to...conservative christian republicans support the former while liberal left wing democrats support the latter. Where do forward thinking, educated, fairly-religious, middle-of-the line folks fall in line? I can tell you it isn't that easy.

Let's first look at Creationsim...err "intelligent design." This is what has pretty much been believe in for all of human civilization, minus the last 150 years. It doesn't matter if you are Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, Native, etc, there is always some creation story. Most of these involve some sort of higher power(s) that made the earth and everything we see. The question becomes whether this higher power exists or not? Obviously it started years ago with primitive man trying to rationalize how we got here. They must of had vivid imaginations to come up with a lot of these things. What is great about it is that there is a lot of overlap to these stories in different cultures.

Religion is a popular thing throughout the world. Wars have been (and will be) fought over different beliefs. People die for it. It is a billion-dollar industry that influences elections, government officials, and anyone who wins an award (athletes and rappers particularly). I'm glad I have religion in my life. I try to go to church every week and I find it a positive thing in my life to believe in a higher power. Now do I follow the letter of the law? No, but not many people do. I'm also not one to push religion on people -- we all have our own beliefs & non-beliefs and I respect that.

So what I (like others) have been told from early on is that God created the earth, the stars, all the plants & animals, and created humans in his likeness. Ok, it's worth a shot, sounds good to a 6-yr old. Oh yeah, he did this in 7 days. He must be pretty darn good to do all that in 7 days! He must be good, he is God afterall. So this (with other creation stories) is what we've had for most of our existence. Not a problem. But where is the proof for this? Hmmm...puts a damper on things.

Well in the 1800s along comes this Darwin fella. He traveled around the world and studied animals, fossil records, and other anthropological stuff and started questioning this. He's pretty smart and says that instead of us being created by this ever-powerful God, we evolved. We evolved from monkeys! Ha! us, from monkeys? You cannot be serious?! But he provided evidence to support this. So we have a theory and we have evidence to prove it. Great! Or maybe not.

As mentioned, religion has always been important to homo sapiens. You go ahead and try to change a belief system that has been going on for thousands of years. Not that easy. It's been 150 years since "The Origin of Species" and the theory is still be challenged and people refuse to accept it. This is mainly because they live in a binary world -- creationism or evolution...there is no inbetween. If they let go a little maybe they would see that both theories can coexist and you can believe in both. Because you know what? Both are pretty convoluted if you ask me.

First there is this concept of God who created everything in seven days. If you think about all the intricacies to this world and how complex it is, not to mention that technology has shown us that there is potential for other worlds such as ours, and in consequence the possibility of life out there, it can be hard to fathom. There are also the fossil records that show that life on Earth has been around for quite a while, a lot longer then any religious book would tell you. You start thinking about it rationally and yeah, it can be pretty hard to digest.

So then you look into this evolution thing. Where did we come from? Monkeys, but where did they come from? Primitive primates, but where did they come from? Reptiles, but where did they come from? Amphibians, but where did they come from? Fish, but where did they come from? Single cell organisms. So over millions of years we started out as one-celled organism and have evolved into the most complex machine ever, homo sapiens. Before you grasp this idea of us evolving from a one-celled organism, you have to ask, how did that get here? Well if you subscribe to the Big Bang theory you get this: all mass in the universe (all planets, stars, universes, etc) were together. Not only were they together, this ball of stuff was so dense that it was infinitely small, but held all that stuff. Then at one moment (for whatever reason), it exploded and we got to where we are today. To accept the 2nd theory, a lot of things had to go exactly right for this to happen. A LOT.

So when you think about it both of these can be pretty hard to rationalize. Which one is true? Which one to believe in? A little of both or something else entirely? That is up to us to decide. There is one thing I do know -- however we got here, it is quite a special place, and among all those billions of stars and galaxies, we are the only ones out there. Pretty damn cool if you ask me.

its weird to see people change

i dunno it feels weird to see people change- its as if you are in a train that never stops and see thousands of people with different faces changing constantly.
Sometimes i blame myself in understanding peoples true intentions too quickly that it becomes a pain to be with them.

Nevertheless, went out with darren yesterday admist all the commotion back at home. It was like kind of fruitful- you know catch up time. it is difficult to aline yourself to different people over time, especially if you are a social butterfly like darren who as done a splendid job in.

Something that only some people can do, but the social and emotional cost that wanna bes' have to pay is beyond discription.
Bottomline- attention is good. Over attention kills in both ways. So its a nice way of saying dont get yourself into a mess unwanted. I am seeing a person stuck in that same mess but deluded that everyone is enjoying it. Funny eh?

But something he said actually struck me. What use is there for a blog if everybody gods around reading wadever is going on in you life which you consider it to be maybe private? Something that only close friends are entitled to.

But yesterday was like kind of tiring after all the walking around and exploring town after like donkey ages. Lols:)
After which met up with jen, matthew and mitchelle at clarke by the sea side for some talk talk session.

Apart from the awesome sight of zooming rats, the sensation was really something one could imagine for. I did a wrong move by like splattering out everything i assumed to be of the student council wish kind of extinguished jens flame. But later i hope i made up for it by explaining to her my intentions

Food for thought:Ego is like the skin of apples. Tender, soft and fragile. Some people feed off their ego- until it blows up to a huge balloon. When someone discovers it, pop goes the balloon and the flesh reveals- point is discovery of true motives comes after the layer of ego:) a learning point.

I would say life is getting better now. I credit that to the lord who has sent some sort of messenger to me:):)

Though i never really regret it, it was a costly lesson undeniably:(

On the social front, i declared married to my notes and utopialp till a levels.. Suprisingly everyone who has texted me(especially long term frens) have been rather around the impression that i am attached but its so not:)

Yeah starting Saturday, i went shopping with leroy and john

which got us there

so now, we had to make a trip back to far east , after slacking at taka to shop for leon!

woah! what a blow today must have been
not blow as in wind blow, but in fact a 100% wipe out blow to my free time
i had signed up for some taekwondo coaching course (unknowingly since my instructor barely said its was simple course)
in the end it was like a four day course , held every weekend lasting to a max of 9-10 hours per day
simply tiresome
to bag it all off, next week i have to sit for a theory test(completely open ended) and a practical test
arrgggh!
what a holiday? i have been conned off it:(
best part for the theory test- the freaking guide is like as thick as your A maths text book!!
ohmygawdddd!
complete drainer..this isn't the best part yet though? If you fail (which the instructor said that 75% of us would), we had to REPEAT the whole freaking four days again?!?!?!
oh great lord, please save me from such disasters
i didn't know taekwondo had so much to offer..seriously
i just realized that i have been really contradicting using the "best part" for almost in every alternate line
well, simply said that's how bad things ah?

i feel as if i am loosing my stamina (dang!)
my kicks are rather getting slower in terms of agility (some say i am aging? WTH?)
but the fact is that i have been very lazy
haven't been practicing, so i better straighten things out soon or else i am doomed

on the brighter side of events, people at the course seem to find my talking and crapping rather entertaining and amusing
i dunno they started crapping too
the whole class became from a regimental one to a very open one i guess?
i made like 20 plus plus more friends today ranging from an RI boy to a 37 year old doctor :)
i call its the skans mass socialism attempt no 1( because it kinda happened by just opening my mouth? unintentionally)
this part was real fun

but yeah somehow it happened.
well just say i finally found myself this holidays
like what we say, letting your hair down..except for the fact that your fringe gets snipped while your snoozing:(
hmmm, so skans is going throgh many many bad hair days like you know,
you wake up look at urself in the mirror and go woah! you suck man!
i got bored of it, especially if you have been ding that for the past 17 days hehes!

you may know of the skans who is dam emo and maybe not very ermerm faithful to his agreements.. dont get me wrong
i aint a grinch, jus that probably when people call you out and you find you really cant make it
and that same course of events take place over and over again
people tend to percieve that your MYTHICAL!
awesomely crazy as it sounds, but its true

now, on christmas i am happy to announce that santa gave me my brain back
or rather he gave me the special gift i needed
which is to be there when one needs you
i am sorry the ROJAK gang! time and time again postponing
i wouldnt have , due to my schedule.

nothing is more special than spendind time with your loved ones right?

not only that, i have met a handful of new friends who are really really interesting

its been long since i felt the warmth of friendship after being blinded by work,work and work
vik,john and leroy thought me one thing that night which is to live life to the fullest
every minute was there starting off from meeting leroys parents to his younger brother reminded me of one thing...
though people may be rather conservative if how they really feel about you..
to me, simple acts of kindess goes a long way
something which i never had or shared with my family for 17 years and counting
i miss being loved or to love

BUT, i guess emo isnt the right word
everyday to me , is a brand new chapter in life. the people whom you share it with, will always cherish it.
I had another observation too, i never had a good talk with neither with my sibilings due to the constant fued we had been through all these years
walking through the corridors of what my owners call "home" is becoming more of a burden to me
waiting for that day where i can finally say , skans its finally here

Meanwhile, i have always enjoyed the time i have spent with each and everyone of you
opportunities i may have been presented, but never did i have anyone to share the joy with
keeping aside that,
god did tell me something the other day- he said : i am with you through it all.in everyone you see and meet.
deeply comforting isnt it.. it keeps running through my mind every minute
this keeps the faith going

what a post right? but really i never felt happier knowing that finally i can lead a blessed life with equal opportunities, love and cherished friendship!

Well yet another day has passed
it weird how fast time flies rights?
hmmms... my Saturday was spent pretty can i say UNEXPECTEDLY?
yeah i originally planned to head to RAYA outing at hasyirs place
but obviously ended up my parents had a revolutionary plan for me
which was a recital at the esplanade
so after that i realised hat i needed to chill
sought company but those who i wanted to go with were busy

hence, i went alone to orchard cineleisure for the 987fm ROCK BAND CHAMPIONSHIPS
i thinks its the coolest thing
i mean don't get me wrong it isn't the actually bang bang kind of rock band
its a game set yeah? pretty cool stuff
so being an avid listener of radio, i decided to attended it
it was awesome simply put
those who missed it, missed out a lot of hot packed action which included a free giveaway of dog-tags and movie hampers:):)

Well that aside, watched the exorcist at night on 5.
it was pretty cool yet pro Christianity movie
i loved it though i feel asleep half away through and woke up half an hour later lols

though again i am not an avid tv watcher of tamil shows
its fair to have that chanelsince the other two languages have already special broadcsting chanels to their name

Then does it mean that we let go of the one so dear to us, watching them be happy with someone else just because what people always says, if you love someone so much, you should let them go if thats what makes them happy. How many people actually do that; is that what the heart really wants?

Does it also mean that everything is fair, everyone of us were planned by God to meet that special someone someday and live happily ever after? Those three words were said too much. Deep in our heart, we all know that that doesn't happen but why are we still so naive, why do we still keep believing it? And what if God left out someone? Does that mean that he/she will never be able t find his/her soulmate and be a alone for the rest of his/her life? How fair is that then?

Why is it that after sometime when we thought we'd found that someone, we started to think if things would be different if we hadn't met him/her and slowly, we find ourselves with lots and lots of excuse to end the supposedly happy ending. But have we really set our mind out to think what is causing all this and it might just be an impulsive step we're taking? Which might later found to hurt not only us, but the supposedly perfect someone.

They always say we should be content with what we have and treasure them. Maybe, we should be thankful that we were lucky enough to find the perfect soulmate who took up all the space in our heart.

i was just about to blog and bang went a loud scream
my neighnour lept screaming cause apparently her brother was drunk and attempted to commit suicide
perhaps if u were me i was dam frigtened~as his legs were in the air
my maid gave him a super punch after that he went madder and went voilent breaking glass and
other items. i went for a little inspection gory blood is what i noticed
so caleed the police, a whole troop came down luhs!

Hey.back with a spectacular post.the reason behind all these wonderful pictures is becuz it was the birthday of my very good friend MIRLIANA!yay

hahah.so we went to celebrate it intially at AMK hub and guess wad, we ended up touring singapore!LOLS

thank goodness my phone had the space for all these pics.for each of the picture shown above there were about 4 retakes for each! cause everytime we take got some problem one either one of us sian face,vibrate,sleeping or sign blocked or too dark etc.phototaking is a very tedious thing
